Some have Australian accets, and I think there are a couple of Spanish speaking ones in there as well. Neospeech are: Julie, Bridget, Paul, Kate, and Misaki and Show (the last two being Japanese). They read Japanese characters, but Masaki is defective and crashes occassionally, and I can't find another version that works.ĪT&T voices are: Mike, Rich, Crystal, Charles and Audrey. TextAloud uses voice synthesis to convert text into spoken audio. TextAloud is the leading text to speech program, available with exciting premium voices (including several languages) from ATT, Cepstral and NeoSpeech for the best in computer speech for your PC. The Neospeech Japanese voices Show, and Masaki are good. Convert any text into voice and MP3 for PC or download to MP3 player. May give AT&T and try again, now that I (re)found them.
Still even some of the small ones sounded OK - as I recall. The Neospeech and AT&T are generally around 500K each, the Scansoft Realspeak are around 80K, while the the Loquendo are around 30K. Although one of the scansoft voices did Japanese pretty good. The best ones are Neospeech and AT&T (judging from the size).
